Menzieshill High School Team about to leave:

Africa Renewal Ministries (ARM):
A team from Dundee's Menzieshill High School are about to leave for Uganda, they will be based in the town of Gabba by the shores of Lake Victoria for 3 weeks. The team made up of 9 pupils 3 members of staff and a Mission International staff member will visit a number of projects within Uganda over their three week trip. ARM http://www.africarenewal.org/ is an indigenous church based ministry set up to bring relevant and lasting change to the nation. Team members will involve themselves in schools, where they will be involved with sports and science projects, and medical centres focusing on first aid.

Other projects:
Invitations for the team to visit have also come from 'Dwelling Places' a Katwe based children's rescue centre, Rock of Hope a street kid's feeding centre and Mighty Meals, Mission Internationals school child feeding project based in Bweyogerere.

Tourism:
The team will visit a number of tourist destinations like, the equator, the source of the Nile at Jinja, including the Bujagali Falls and of course the Game Park at Murchison Falls.

Pray:
Please pray that the team has a safe and successful trip. Pray also that each team member is challenged by global poverty part of which they will experience in Uganda. Please pray that each person will be challenged about how they live their lives in a western society today.
